The poster Minerals shows 267 natural minerals and cut gemstones. The country of origin is indicated for each stone.

Minerals are substances formed by geological processes with a fixed chemical structure, i.e. elements or chemical compounds that are usually crystalline. There are about 5,000 minerals, which are divided into 8-10 classes depending on the classification system. The relatively rare borates and organic minerals are not listed here.
