In order to fulfil this requirement, MINOX expanded its sports optics offering with the new MD 62 ED and MD 62 ED W spotting scopes. As with all other MINOX sports optics products, the core values of the company - compactness, quality and precision - were once again rigorously applied. For example, the new spotting scope (without eyepiece) weighs just 930 g and is one of the most compact models ever with its dimensions of 328x99x89 mm.

The Minox MD ED spotting scopes offer particularly high-contrast and sharp images. This is mainly due to the special types of glass used, which have a particularly low dispersion. Colour fringing is reduced and the desired true-to-life image is achieved.
